Kim Farmer is a highly skilled commercial real estate professional at Friedman Real Estate, with extensive experience in operational and financial management. Kim oversees a diverse portfolio of assets across multiple markets, including Detroit, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Her expertise spans various property types, including retail, general office, medical office, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, judicial, and detention centers.

As Director of Commercial Property Management, Kim is responsible for strategic planning, financial modeling, and asset positioning to maximize returns while maintaining the integrity of the properties under her management. She plays a key role in supervising day-to-day operations, long-term strategic planning, and decision-making for the portfolio. Her leadership extends to managing relationships with third-party service providers in property management, legal, construction, leasing, and brokerage sectors.

A skilled negotiator, Kim develops and approves lease transactions on behalf of ownership, successfully securing new and renewal leases. She also strategically monitors, analyzes, and manages the disposition of real estate assets in alignment with investment objectives.

Kim fosters collaboration among internal teams, including Property Management, Lease Administration, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tenant Improvement Construction, and Leasing/Brokerage divisions, ensuring seamless operations. She also maintains strong communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts from Detroit College of Business and has completed the Certified Property Management Certification. She continues to expand her expertise through ongoing education in all aspects of the real estate industry.
